in 1997 bildwechsel and its archives moved from its fomer space at rostocker strasse 25 to its current space on the kirchenallee, on the third floor of a former textile house.
bildwechsel is located very centrally, just 3 minutes from hamburg hauptbahnhof (the central railway station) in the st. georg quarter. we are at the top of the lange reihe – where it meets kirchenallee. when you exit the main railway station you take the deutsches schauspielhaus exit.
